He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Levi Toot and Mary Magdalene Moore of Ohio; his sisters, Virginia C. Toot of Ohio and Dorothy June Sampson of Oklahoma; and his sons, Patrick Allen Toot of Plantation and Brian Parmalee of Virginia.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Toot; and his children, Sally Blain (Michael), Doris Price (Allan), Kim Johnston (Brad), Brenda Crouch, Kenneth Parmalee, III (Sharon) and Michael Parmalee (Tammy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
