She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nowell and Ruth Nowell; and her brothers, Lewis, John and Robert Nowell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lester Nowell (Mimi) and Gina Holmes (Buster); her spouse Gwen Bloodworth Giddens (Bill Mahaffey); and her grandchildren, Jessie Giddens Takeda (Yukinori), Beth Giddens, Caroline Bloodworth Morrison (Christopher), Evan Walshe (Yaprak), Jennifer Bowman (Barry Ali) and Samuel Bowman (Rachel Keener). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northview Cemetery (1225 N Franklin St, Dublin, GA 31021).
