He was predeceased by: his father James Howard McDonald; and his grandparents, Earnie, Alene Hersey, Eugene and Della McDonald.
He is survived by: his daughter Jenna McDonald (Thomas Brown IV); his stepfather Carlos Hernandez (Becky Crabtree); his stepchildren, Whitney Collins (Mathew), Brittany Thomas and Joshua Carruth; his siblings, Melissa McQuaig, Brian "Homer" Driggers (Sara), Johnny Batts, Sr. and Bubby; his grandchildren, Brayson, Hayden Ford and Westen Wilkinson; and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Gabriel, Serenity and Maverick. He is also survived by many other extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
