He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cotter and Catherine Eileen Cotter; and his brothers, Thomas Cotter and James Cotter. He is survived by: his wife Marianna Cotter; his children, William Cotter Jr. (Susan), Ellie Murphy and Shane Cotter; his siblings, Fred Cotter (Betty), Carl Cotter (Renee), Eileen Cotter (Sam) and Carol Cotter; his nephews, John Lewis (Kathryn) and Mike Good (Charity); and his niece Adriana Bissey (Brian). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
