She was predeceased by: her husband Tois E. Carter; her stepson Billy Carter; her son-in-law Michael Martin; her brothers, Arthur E. Sweat, Jesse E. Sweat and Julius C.; and her mother Arie Sweat.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel J. "Danny" Carter of Palatka and Rhonda Martin of Sanford; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Carter of Palatka. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Masters Funeral Home - Palatka Chapel (3015 Crill Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
