He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Goodwin and Lillian Burton Goodwin; his son John-Karl Goodwin; and his brothers, John Wilbur Goodwin and James "Jimmy" Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Jana Craig Goodwin of Palatka; his son Gregory Scott Goodwin (Mary Helen) of Jacksonville; his stepdaughter Alise Reynolds (Tom) of Orange Park; his daughter-in-law Karen Goodwin (Mike Oransky) of Gainesville; the mother of his children Rhoda Nash Oehser of Jacksonville; his brother Walter Fredrick Goodwin (Lee) of Crescent City; his sisters-in-law, Libby Goodwin of Jacksonville and Lois Goodwin Glaze of Crescent City; his grandchildren, Emma Lillian Caudill (Kyle), Mary Grace Goodwin, Brian Nash Goodwin, Jenna Karli Goodwin and Kelsey Brielle Goodwin; his stepgrandson Garrison Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Sam Goodwin and Camden Caudill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
