Nelson of Palatka, Florida, born in Danielsville, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dicky Nelson; her sons, Ricky Nelson and Tommy "Slick" Nelson (Belinda); her parents, Cleo Vaughn and Annie Bell Vaughn; and her siblings, Marshall Vaughn, Wynna Silverling and Barbara Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Terry N. Turk; her siblings, Don Vaughn, Kerry Vaughn (Judy), Betty Jackson and Pauline Geer; her grandchildren, Heather Deloach (Kenny), Allison Johnstone (Jeremy), Missy McDermont (Bunky), Rocky Adkins (Ann), Patti Laubenthal (Jacob) and Nicole Dorman (David); her great grandchildren, Cody Sapp (Ava), Taylor McDaniel, Madeline Najarro (Ariel), Kayley Adkins, Lane Bingham, Steven Redish (Cassie), Jared Adkins, Hailey Deloach, Garrett Adkins, Skyler Redish of Kendall Deloach, T. J, Peyton McDermont, Ariana Johnstone, Jay Hughes, Layton McDermont and Jaxson Hughes; and her great great grandchildren, Sutton McDaniel, Meria Redish, Luna McDaniel, Marshall Redish, Riles Najarro and Austin Fleming. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
