He was predeceased by: his wife Susy J. Rich; his parents, Arthur Grady Rich and Dorothy Pike Rich; his brother Johnny Rich; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Mashburn and Robert Franklin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Gornto (Buster) of Orange Springs and Missy Motes (Scott) of Palatka; his siblings, Faye Wood (Randall) of LaGrange, GA, Becky Mashburn of Whitesburg, GA, Steve Rich (Tracy) of Franklin, GA and Wanda Franklin of LaGrange, GA; his sister-in-law Wanda Rich of Franklin, GA; his grandchildren, Travis Shell, Brandy Shell (Kyler), Shanna Cribbs (Levi), Layne Watson, Jaylin Motes and Emma Motes; and his great grandchildren, Colton Gornto and Carter Aldridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
