He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Farmer and Retta Farmer; and his sister Linda Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Tina Farmer; his sons, Austin Farmer (Traci), Joshua Farmer and Michael C. Farmer (Maura); his siblings, Larry Farmer (Rhonda) and Tracy Davis (Ray); and his grandchildren, Danica, Lauren, Marissa, Gavin and Bryleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
