He is survived by: his close friend Lillian Messom; his children, Gene Messom and Dawn Hankerson (Vernon); his grandchildren, Liz (Josh), Raven (Logan), Reed of Holden, DJ, Daniel (Courtney), Jordan (Samantha), Nicholas (Taylor), Tyler and Gwyneth; his siblings-in-law, Gabe Eberle (Mary) and Cheri Eberle; his close friends, Richard Adams, Kevin Bass and Chad Thomas; and his son-in-law Vernon Hankerson.
