He was predeceased by: his parents, Gollie McNeil Bellamy and Estelle New Bellamy; his brother Gordon; his sister-in-law Susan; and his nephews, Joey Bellamy and Brett Fair.

He is survived by: his children, Kymberly Johnson Lands (Holly) and Robert Mohr (Katie); his siblings, Bruce Bellamy, Marilyn Bellamy Long and Rebecca Bellamy Hatcher (Mike); and his grandchildren, Brynn Barnard and Bryce Barnard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
