It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Matthew Chambless of Palatka, Florida, born in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Chambless and Lona Chambless; his siblings, William Nathan Chambless, Ray Chambless of Robert Chambless, L. J, R. D. Chambless, George Chambless, Artelia Taylor, Hattie McBrayer and Sue Martin; and his nephew Donald Chambless.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Robinson (Kris) of Kentucky; his stepsons, Craig Westberry of Texas and Chris Westberry (Tabby) of Palatka; his sister Sarah Welch of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Seth Robinson, Ryan Robinson, Julia Westberry and Jennifer Brigham.
