He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Bennett and JoAnna Edwards Bennett; his wife Verna Jean Bennett; and his siblings, J. B. Bennett, Walter Bennett and Ruth Fillman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda (Joe Calabello) and Kimberly (Ray Lowe); and his grandchildren, Brittany Calabello Grande (Nick), Lana Calabello Glick (Kevin), Landon Calabello, Shannon Lowe Brinkley (Chad) and Chad Lowe. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
