She was predeceased by: her husband John Boynton; and her parents, Clarice Hardage and C. J. Hardage. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Hicks (Buddy), Dina Herren (James) and Gina Christopher (Thomas); and her siblings, Mamie Dian Matthews and Charles Hardage III. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
