She was predeceased by: her father James Eddie "Tony" Pearson; her grandparents, Pleasant Sr., Annie Ruth Williams and Clemmie Thomas; and her great-grandparent Ethel McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her mother Laverne Williams; her husband Darryl Brown; her aunts, Zadie Ruth Williams, Valerie Williams, Elizabeth Harris, Sabrina Thomas and Sharon Thomas; her uncle Hulie Williams; her great-aunts, Gertrude Slappy, Mary Kindred-Evans and Idell McLaughlin; her nieces, Talaijah Pearson, Trinity Pearson and Taliyah Pearson; and her siblings, D'End Pearson Greer (Demetrious), Oscar Reynolds, John Brown, Cravelyn Hooker, Tyree Harrell, Lolita Pearson Bennett (Anthony), Eric Jones (Shiela), Tony Pearson and Dominique Pearson. She is also survived by loving cousins, friends.
