He was predeceased by: his son Carl; his brother Joseph; and his parents, Lily Wellman and Carl Wellman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Duane Stephens (Anabelle) of Oxford and Nicole Wellman (Jason Woodham) of Leesburg, GA; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Schuylar, Madelynn and Colton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
