She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McConnell Miller and Alice Roosevelt Miller (Miller); her husband JP Hess; her siblings, Gladys Hess (Miller), Lucille Myers (Miller), Earl Miller, Jr., Harold Miler, Slagle Miller, Gerald Miller and Charlotte Lowery (Miller); and her granddaughter Teresa Dianne Holton.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald G. Hess (Susan) of Oxford, FL and Phyllis G. Holton of Fruitland Park, FL; her sister Oneeda Hagen (Miller) of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Tabitha Ann Sheets, Cory Gene Hess, Jennifer Diane Huff, Erin T. Mariano and Brian K. Holton. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
