She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lieutenant Colonel Emery and Dorothea Smith (Cohill); her daughter Denise Hatcher of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Brittany, Katilin, John Franklin and Charles; her stepchildren, Cathy Bolton of Virginia, Carol Bolton of Virginia, Christine Bolton of Virginia, William Bolton of Virginia and Coleen Bolton of Virginia; her great grandchildren, Cayden and Paisley Stegall; her niece Laya Curry; her husband William; and her daughter Donna Marie Yow. She was also cherished by four step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
