He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh and Lydia; his brothers, Francis and Homer; and his son Raymond Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Carmela Ferguson; and his sisters, Pauline, Margot and Peggy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
