It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore J. Rand of Osprey, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Salvatore leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Salvatore may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rand and Margaret Santariello. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Renee Rand; his children, Mary Connelly (Mark), Cathy Rand, Jeanne Ismail, Joseph Rand (Debby) and John Rand (Jenny); his brother Richard (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Marsha and Marguerite. He is also survived by his wife, their 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren.
