She was predeceased by: her parents, L. B. Baker and Sara Peach Baker; her former husband James Allen "Jim" Mincy; and her husband James "Everette" Pearson. She is survived by: her brother W. E. "Red" Baker; her children, Bill Mincy (Cindy), Mark Mincy (Luisa) and Holly Mincy DeLai; and her stepchildren, Gary Pearson (Debbie), Martha Pearson, Jean Nelson Isom (John), Maggie Nelson Morgan (Rand E.) and Larry Nelson (Cathi). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hope Afield c/o Ken Kilpatrick, PO Box 773, Greenville Alabama 36307, which is a farm to work with at-risk-youth and their families.
