He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Alice Reiman and Harry Edgar Ray; his wife Bernadine; and his brothers, Harry and John.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Feuerhahn (Gene), Bob Ray (Sylvia) and Staci Lawler (Dan).
