He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Charalambous Kaniaris and Elizabeth Ann Kaniaris; and his sister Betsy Feaster. He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his children, Kristine Drummond (Michael), Elias Kaniaris (Franymar), Nicholas Kaniaris (Tina) and Alexandra Kaniaris (Alec); his brother Petros; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Eden, Elena, Elias, Ellie, Eva, Kaylee and Sophia.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home (733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174-5107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 7:30 PM and on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (143 Seton Trail, Ormond Beach, FL 32176).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Harold's honor to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, local area homeless shelter facilities and The Humane Society.
