He was predeceased by: his father Francis Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hayes; his children, William Hayes (Kari), Col. Brian Hayes (Missi) and Jessica Smith; his mother Elizabeth Hayes; and his brothers, Thomas, Richard, Wayne and Michael Hayes.
