She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Carter; and her siblings, Max Winterton, Marjorie Bent and Wanda Gardner. She is survived by: her daughter Yanda Schechter (Andrew); her grandson Joshua A. Schechter; and her great grandchildren, Thomas A. Schechter and Ezra M. Schechter.
