He is survived by: his parents, Carolan (Mark Sherman) and William (Pamela Kavanagh); his siblings, Kevin (Claire Kavanagh), Brian (Melissa Kavanagh), Jake Kavanagh, Karen Rein and Michael (Tracee Sherman); his nieces and nephews, Kiera, Piper, Luke, Jamison, Kelly, Olivia, Owen, Zachary, Matthew and Reese; his aunts and uncles, Rita M. (Brian O'Connor), Annemarie (Wes Rigler), Mary K. (Mike Socha), Michael (Jacqueline O'Connor), Lou (Nancy Breuning), Marianne (Jeff Thomas), Olive Kavanagh Johnson, Claire Kavanagh Gambale, Jeri A. Kavanagh (Arthur) and Lisa Holl; and his stepgrandmother Mimi Holl.
