She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Burkett; and her brother James Randolph "Randy" Thigpen. She is survived by: her sisters, Belle Green and Mary Thigpen (Robert "Bob" Respess); her daughters, Genevieve Burkett (Tyson Kackley) and Jane Burkett; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Hugh, John Rowan, Ailith and Anaïs.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (1603 E Winter Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32803).
