He is survived by: his wife Ying; his stepson Yang Chin; his children, Sara Seamann (Ryan), Adam Eckelbarger (Jessica) and Kyle Eckelbarger (Deana); his siblings, Carol Brock (Richard) and Brian Eckelbarger (Debbie); his sister-in-law Liliya Eckelbarger; and his brother David Eckelbarger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
