He is survived by: his wife Linda Schaedel; his children, Julie C. D'Italia, Robert J. Schaedel Jr. and Michael C. Schaedel; and his siblings, Marybeth Schaedel and Joe Schaedel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Preston Funeral Home (153 W S Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ 07079). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (217 Prospect St, South Orange, NJ 07079). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
