He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund DeMerse and Gertrude "Trudy" DeMerse; and his siblings, William "Bill" DeMerse and Janey Demerse Grinnen. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Louse Demerse Nelson, Christopher and Neil, Jr.; his sisters, Donna Williams, Julia Dixon, Mary Osiason and Caron Stay; and his close friend Jane. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
