She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick J. Gefken and Mary Demeter; her husband Paul George Durkin; and her sister Janet Eick. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Durkin of Kauffman, TX, Paul, Patricia Durkin of Bay Head, NJ, Pamela Grossman (Glenn) of West Hills, CA, Mary Beth Durkin of Point Pleasant, NJ, Judy Scheller of Farmingdale, NJ, Karen McFadden of Orlando, FL and Todd Durkin (Melanie) of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Paul G. Durkin II (Zahra), David Durkin, Taylor, Carly, Jonah Grossman, Ian Kirwan (Crystal), Sara Humeny (Rob), Brooke Scheller, Grant McFadden (Bailey), Madeline McFadden, Luke, Brady and McKenna Durkin; her great grandchild Autumn Mummolo; her grandchildren, Lochlan and Ilona Kirwan; and her siblings, Valerie (David Blethen) and Raymond.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. James - Orlando (215 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 191 E Pine St, Orlando, FL 32801.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Audubon Park Covenant Church, Orlando, FL.
