He was predeceased by: his wife Iona "Susie" Hillery. He is survived by: his children, William Hillery (Belinda) of Picayune, MS and Mary Haskin (Brent) of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Lauren Hillery (Dusty Bratton), Scott Hillery (Shelby) and Kevin Hillery; and his great grandchildren, Quinton Hillery and Braden Hillery (Judith McElroy).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
