He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia; and his siblings, Bradley and Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his father Hugh "Ed" E Dowling, II; his nieces and nephews, Holly Herman, Lindsey Redick, Scott and Garrett McCullouh; and his great-nephews, Dylan and Dayton Herman.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
