He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Castillo and Ruthven Edwards; his stepson Timothy Martin Philip Jr. Don; and his sister Margaret Castillo. He is survived by: his children, Hakim Edwards, Cicely Edwards and Tamieka Bobb; his spouse Sherma Edwards; his close friend Calvin Ramirez; his children, Shyidah Lloyd and Gabrielle Lloyd; his nieces, Sherline Castillo, Bridget Castillo, Marcine Castillo (Martin Castillo) and Mon Castillo (Dave Castillo); his grandchildren, Nicolas Dowling, Geovanni Julia, Jujuan Edwards, Delon Harrison, Tahj Harrison, Nakai Fennell, Samira Simpson, Mojisola Edwards, Alethia Edwards, Daniella Downer, Isabella Downer and Ethan Clarke; and also Kasheim Castillo. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
