He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace E. Smith and Woodbury W. Smith; his wife Hanni Smith; his daughter Wendy; and his siblings, Clayton Smith, Clarence Smith, Dorothy Rose (Dot) and Ruth Jordan.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Ilona Crass (Jeffrey) and Jette Canady (Dennis). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
