She was predeceased by: her parent V. Courtlandt Smith, II; her brother Collett Veleair Smith; and her grandparents, Samuel Dickinson, Jean Cole Littlepage, Veleair Courtlandt and Dea Margaret Chapman Smith.
She is survived by: her mother Kemp Littlepage McElwee; her husband Charles McElwee; her brothers, Courtlandt Littlepage Smith (Elizabeth) and Christian Van Williamson Smith (Jennifer Classen); and her nieces and nephews, Courtlandt Littlepage Smith Jr., Wilson Cheney Smith and Lauren Claire Smith.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edgewood Country Club (1600 Edgewood Dr, Charleston, WV 25302).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard West, Charleston, WV 25312.
