She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Oege Boonstra; her spouse Vasantkumar L. Tanna; her daughters, Gita Tanna-Howard (Charles Howard) of West Linn, Oregon, Anjali Tanna (Mario Rio) of Utrecht and Mira Tanna (Obi Nwakanma) of Orlando, Florida; and her grandchildren, Adriana Rio (Utrecht), Kiran Nwakanma (Orlando), Devna Howard (West Linn), Priya Nwakanma (Orlando) and Spencer Howard (West Linn).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the National Peace Corps Association or to WSMR Radio in Anskje's honor.
