It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cheney Sr. (Orange Park, Florida), born in Washington, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cheney and Louise Cheney; and his siblings, Joan Steward and Edward Cheney. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Emerson; his children, Sarah (Steve), William "Sandy" (Ruth) and Patrick (Kathryn); and his grandchildren, Hannah (Jacob), Leah, Emerson, August, Norah, Lily, Amaya and Takara. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, many loving nieces and nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073.
