He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shay and Mary Compton. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Shay (Annabella Hughes) and Maya Shay; his sister Barbara Martin; his nephews, Seth Martin and Todd Martin; and his niece Emily Martin (Momi Cruz).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to The Arc Jacksonville or Gateway Rehab Center, organizations that were dear to his heart.
