We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 72, Vertiss Powers (Orange Park, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Vertiss' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in their wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vertiss has bequeathed us. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home and Cremation Services (529 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
