He was predeceased by: his father William Allen; and his siblings, Marcia Bryce and Bill Allen. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer "Jenny" Allen; his children, Dave Allen (Shelly), Steve Allen (Jennifer) and Chris Allen-Black (Joe); his sister Barbara Power (Greg); his grandchildren, Nicole Libal (Austin), Ryan Allen (Kenzie), Ashley Allen, Erika Allen and Abbie Allen; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Allen, Levi Allen, Asher Libal and Harper Libal. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in Richard's honor.
