She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Jowers and Oliff Kirkland Jowers; her husbands, T. J. Singletary and Kenneth Parker; and her siblings, Thelma Vickers, J. D. Jowers, Nettie Vickers, Marvin Jowers, Jr., Doris Jowers, Robert Jowers and Sandra Whitley.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Rollen (Ernie), Phyllis Bowers, Teresa Gonzales (Manny), Dewayne Singletary (Christina) and Kawana Tapley. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
