The memory of Retha Pearl Parker of Orange Park, Florida, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Jowers and Oliff Kirkland Jowers; her husbands, T. J. Singletary and Kenneth Parker; and her siblings, Thelma Vickers, J. D. Jowers, Nettie Vickers, Marvin Jowers, Jr., Doris Jowers, Robert Jowers and Sandra Whitley.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Rollen (Ernie), Phyllis Bowers, Teresa Gonzales (Manny), Dewayne Singletary (Christina) and Kawana Tapley. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Centerpoint Baptist Church (1650 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, FL 32068). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221).
