She was predeceased by: her daughters, Nerlande Denis, Adine Vernet and Marie Catherine Vernet. She is survived by: her daughters, Marjorie Celestin (Vernet), Laura Vernet and Elizabeth Vernet; her grandchildren, Nelson Celestin (Denis), Katiana Celestin, Keyshawn Celestin, Elisha Celestin, Wissbeth Saint, Hervelynn and Laurana Sagesse; her son-in-law Joseph Celestin; and her nieces and nephews, Roland Denis and Clerzina Denis. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home, honoring Marie's lifelong commitment to helping others.
