She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Robert Voorhees; and her brothers, Ray and Timothy Voorhees. She is survived by: her husband Luis Ruiz; her children, Missy, Luis II, Carlos (Lisa) and Chris (Shelly Ruiz); her grandchildren, Shelly Ruiz, Chris, Lisa, Carlos, Luis II, Bethany and Tearsa; her great grandchildren, Cierra, Marissa and Christian; and also, Destiny, Brandon, Aurora, Evan and Gwen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
