It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanne Louise Phelps of Orange Park, Florida, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Raffaele Barbarise; her husband Clarence Phelps; her son Jack Phelps; and her sisters, Mary, Edith and Lena.
She is survived by: her son Robert Phelps (Linda); and her brother Ralph Barbarise. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jeanne's memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
