We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2022, at the age of 90, James Frank Gay Jr. of Orange Park, Florida, born in Green Cove Springs, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Gay; his children, James "Jim" F. Gay III (Jeffrey), Scott Gay (Erin), Deborah Brown (Robert), Catherine Snowden (David) and Melody Riegel (Paul); his sister Linda Gay Bonner; his grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Jeremy Brown, Kimberly Gill, Daniel Gay, Meghan Gay, Chelsea Arb, Chandler Gay, Ciara Keelan, Shannon Riegel, Spencer Riegel, Slater Riegel, Stüssy Riegel, Sammie Riegel, Lanie Jansheski and Lauren Jansheski; and his great grandchildren, Millie Brown, Anna Brown, Callie Brown, Catherine Brown, Mason Arb, Emerson Arb, Desmond Brown, Bliss Brown, Carter Gay, Kennedy Gay, Calvin Justice and Jerry Jansheski. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
