He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Frazier and Ava Frazier; his wife Betty Earnhardt Frazier; his son Herbert D. Frazier Jr.; and his siblings, Natalie Welch, Ann Koontz and Robert Frazier.

He is survived by: his children, David Frazier (Helen) and Barbara Frazier-White (John); his daughter-in-law Jane Frazier; his grandchildren, Joshua Shane Frazier (Ann), Joshua Anderson (Sara), John Frazier, Katie, Elizabeth Ann Frazier, Melissa Lagasse and Tiffany Lagasse-Vicsik; and his great grandchildren, Cortnie Frazier, Nathan Frazier, Leo Roberts, Kendal Vicsik, Paisley Vicsik and Alivia Anderson.
