Helen Marie Gay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2023, at the age of 90, Helen Marie Gay of Orange Park, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Charles McEachin; her husband Frank Gay; her sister T. Marie McCall; and her half-brother Silas Kines. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Brown (Robert), James "Jim" F. Gay III (Jeffrey), Catherine Snowden (David), Scott Gay (Erin) and Melody Riegel (Paul); her grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Jeremy Brown, Kimberly Gill, Daniel Gay, Meghan Gay, Chelsea Arb, Chandler Gay, Ciara Keelan, Shannon Riegel, Spencer Riegel, Slater Riegel, Stüssy Riegel, Sammie Riegel, Jay Jansheski, Vickie Jansheski, Lanie Jansheski and Lauren Jansheski; her great grandchildren, Millie Brown, Anna Brown, Callie Brown, Catherine Brown, Mason Arb, Emerson Arb, Desmond Brown, Bliss Brown, Carter Gay, Kennedy Gay, Calvin Justice, Jerry Jansheski, Ceagan Gay and Skylynn Riegel; and her sister-in-law Linda Bonne (Gay). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
