She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Robinson and Velma Robinson; her former husband Joe L. Oliver; her brothers, James Robinson, Willie Robinson and Frank Robinson; and her son-in-law Dr. Anthony J. Franklin.
She is survived by: her husband Rapheal Thompson, Sr.; her children, Dr. Deidra O. Franklin and Joe Eric Oliver; her grandsons, Austin J. Franklin and Joel Oliver; her children, Terry Benjamin, Brenda Thompson, Veverly Shanklin, Gwendolyn Thompson Brasher (Timothy Brasher) and Rapheal Thompson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Chaunda Thompson, Amber Benjamin, Rapheal Antoine Thompson (Joanna Thompson) and Elahna RaJean Thompson; her great grandchildren, Parish Thompson, Jonathan Keese and Milo Thompson; and her sisters, Betty Robinson (Leroy) and Phyllis Gelzer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
