He was predeceased by: his wife Missy. He is survived by: his children, Melinda, Meghan and George; his grandchildren, Cashel, Quinn, Declan and Vivian; his son Sean; his daughter-in-law Megan; his siblings, Kathy, Barb and John; his sister-in-law Lauren; and his brother Deacon David.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Matthew's Catholic Church, Jacksonville or Catholic Charities Jacksonville.
